My name is John Walsh (Johnny) and I was born and raised on the South Shore. I grew up in Pembroke but I have lived in Marshfield for roughly 7+ years with my wife, 2 children, and our 2 English Bulldogs. In addition to being a full time father/husband I work as an Healthcare IT Consultant for a Nashville based company. Some of you might recognize me from coaching sports in Marshfield as well.

The demands of my everyday schedule, on the heels of the pandemic, left me feeling depleted. This kick-started my journey to a healthier lifestyle and different mindset. I realized that I was not alone and that it was important to focus on the well-being of family, friends, and co-workers. The sauna in my residence was a regular place for me to clear my mind, offer calmness, help with soreness, and provide a sense of rejuvenation. I thought to myself about how I could spread my love of hot and cold therapy to our community?

In my mind there is nothing more amazing than a true wood-fired sauna but I realized that experience is not readily available on the South Shore. That led me to the research of mobile saunas and how other parts of the countries are bringing wellness directly to their communities. From this Saltwater Soul Sauna was born. Saltwater Soul Sauna is an authentic wood-fired mobile sauna delivering wellness to your doorstep. The ultimate goal is to create a spa like atmosphere in the comfort of your home, at local events, gyms, studios, etc.

Each item Saltwater Soul uses will have a story behind it from the towels, birch fire starters, essential oils, changing room scents, and seat covers from Finland. There will be a journal with all rentals to share your sauna experience!
